This is probably the most desirable platform to build a Chevy prerunner. First of all the Vortec Max comes with the best bang for the buck engine package, but coupled with this super short wheelbase, is what really makes it unique. A lot of the popular builds out there, had to shorten the wheelbase and go from the 6’ bed down to the 5’ bed, and this truck comes that way from the factory.

I originally intended to install a race kit and do a full build, but the timeline has changed and now I won’t have time.

Motor and trans and all above work, have less then 1000 miles.

This is a strut front end, not torsion bars! Ideal platform for a long travel race kit.

Has a simple leveling it on front, otherwise all stock suspension

No check engine lights, everything works.

Odometer shows 192k miles. But at this point, that’s only the cab and doors, as the motor and trans are all new.

Truck runs and drives great. I’ve only put a couple hundred miles on it, and it’s super fun to drive, trans sits around 145 degrees, and engine sounds pretty pissed off.

Has a prerunner style rear bumper, and I think I have a Mazzulla rear hitch I’ll throw in.

Known negatives:

Speedo doesn’t work, I guess it’s a common fix, guys on CL charge $80.

TPMS light is on, but who cares.

Driver side rear lower bed side has a lil cosmetic damage, but I would assume(hope) you’re gonna install fiberglass any ways.

Interior has some stains, but hopefully you’re going to install Race seats.

You could leave it just the way it is, and drive it. But hopefully you’ll build it into the truck it deserves to be!
